Meet Our Counselor
Jim Martin
Hello, allow me to tell you a little about myself. My name is Jim Martin. I have been married for over 40 years. My wife and I have one daughter. I have served as a pastor for more than 30 years. All of this time in Arizona and most of it in the Phoenix area. The past seven years has been spent almost exclusively working with pastors.
In this capacity countless hours have been spent in God’s Word helping people discover His will for their lives. Recently I began working towards a Master in Christian Counseling that I might more effectively accomplish this. I currently have a Masters in Divinity and a Doctorate in Ministry.
As a counselor who is also a Jesus-follower, my goal is to create a supportive and caring environment where the counselor and the client together work to achieve a fuller understanding of the client’s conflicts, anxiety, and depression and how to move towards the abundant life Jesus offers (John 10:10).
