Child Protection in a Ministry Environment…

Guidelines for Ministry Workers.

Safeguarding the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of young people and other vulnerable individuals may be one of the most important responsibilities of any ministry organization.

Churches should be a refuge for those who have experienced abuse. But, too often, survivors haven't found the protection they deserve and the care they need from the church. Are you ready to join us in changing that? Take the Caring Well Challenge

Background Check Resources

Safety for the children and youth our churches serve is an issue many churches have not traditionally considered. However, when it is ignored, it puts a fellowship on the path to liability. There are several places where churches can secure background checks for those who work with teens and children. Here is a list of companies that provide such services. We are not endorsing any of them. We are just making these options available to you.
